Sign Up For The Big Heart 5K

Graeme Sharp was joined by Steve Rotherham MP and Liverpool legend Alan Kennedy at Goodison Park today to launch the city’s Big Heart 5K race.

The annual race, set up in memory of Everton legend Alan Ball, takes place in Walton Hall Park on Sunday 2 September and will see fans of Everton and Liverpool racing against each other, all in the name of charity.

And Sharpy is urging all Blues to sign up and help raise funds for Everton in the Community, which is one of the official charities of the race.

Speaking at the launch, Graeme said: “I would encourage all Everton fans regardless of ability to sign up for the Big Heart race and raise money for Everton in the Community,  which is a great charity.

“I believe in the past three races there have been more Liverpool fans taking part, so we really need to get behind this and make sure the race is a sea of blue!”

The Big Heart 5K begins at 10am and football fans both blue and red are encouraged to come down and show their true colours.
