Everton is holding a day of fun for all the family ahead of its fixture against Sunderland on Easter Monday.
On 9 April between 12pm and 2.30pm, supporters and local people are encouraged to come down to Stanley Park (adjacent to the Isla Gladstone Conservatory) and enjoy some Easter fun, which has been organised by Everton in the Community, the Blues’ official charity.
Everton in the Community coaches will be running football skills sessions and face painting, whilst Junior Blues can also participate in competitions and Easter Egg and prize giveaways.
The Sunderland fixture has been designated as an Everton in the Community’s official matchday for the charity to promote the excellent work it delivers across Merseyside.
The Blues’ official charity will be using the fixture to launch its new ‘Text Giving’ fundraising service at half time to help raise even more funds to enable all of its vital and life-changing programmes to continue.
All supporters need to do to help the charity is send a text message – it really is as easy as that!
Simply text EITC06 followed by a space, pound sign and the amount that you would like to donate to 70070. For example 'EITC06 £2'.
