Everton 4 Employment is a pioneering programme that aims to assist unemployed people across Merseyside back into employment.
Working in partnership with the Premier League, The Football Pools, Job Centre Plus and Department for Work and Pensions, the Everton 4 Employment scheme develops skills and motivates participants to make them more employable.
Participants work towards achieving vocational qualifications and attend a two week work experience placement at various companies in and around Merseyside. Some course graduates have gone on to gain full-time employment with organisations such as QVC, Jaguar Land Rover, Crowne Plaza, Hilton and Thistle Hotels as well as many other businesses across all areas of Merseyside.
This innovative initiative, based at Goodison Park, provides a healthy, exciting and stimulating experience for those attending. The project will also improve self-esteem and confidence, develop team building skills and enhance their job opportunities.

They are invaluable in their support of work experience placements, mock interviews, presentations and open days. We also hope that a lot of the employers gain a lot from the partnership with the Everton 4 Employment course as we will promote the good work they do and also can assist in providing them with potential quality employees for their workforce.”
